From tube stock to super advanced trees, we offer the largest range while maintaining the highest quality standards and competitive prices. Plantmark’s operations include one large-scale production nursery and seven Wholesale Trade Markets with sales and distribution in Victoria, New South Wales, and Queensland. 

Key responsibilities

Reporting to the Trade Market Manager, the role involves hands-on sales and customer service, plant consultation, scanning stock, processing payments and liaising with plant suppliers. Additional tasks include general nursery duties such as weeding, watering, merchandising and using nursery tools and equipment.

The position is full time, working a five-day roster  Monday to Friday plus occasional weekend watering duties. 

Essential attributes

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Passion for plants with a knowledge of Botanical plant identification and/or horticulture experience highly desirable.
• High level communication and customer service skills with a proactive approach to solving queries.
• Confident computer ability at intermediate standards.
• Ability to follow procedures and a keen eye for detail.
• Positive work ethic with ability to effectively work unsupervised as well as in a team.

Applicants must also be capable of performing regular heavy lifting tasks and be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions.
