Minimum Education/Experience
Associates Degree - Graduation from a National League of Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) or equivalent accredited school of nursing. The nurse shall have completed a nursing education program that included clinical experiences with actual patients under the supervision of qualified faculty.

Nevada Registered Nurse (RN) - Upon Hire
California Registered Nurse (RN) - Upon Hire
Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support - Upon Hire
Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers - Upon Hire
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS): Employees that have never been certified must take a live initial AHA certification class. Employees with recently expired certifications will be enrolled in Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI). Certification must be completed within specified time frame. - Upon Hire
BLS/ACLS/PALS: Employee will be enrolled in the Resuscitation Quality Improvement (RQI) Basic Life Support (BLS), Advanced Life Support (ALS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) Entry or Prep Curriculum (depending on their previous BLS, ACLS, and/or PALS certification). - Within 3 months of hire into job
