Psych Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Full-Time MAT Waivered

  MindPath Care Centers needs a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant (PA) in NC. Providers deliver assessments and ongoing medication management, including MAT to patients in our Addiction Recovery program, in an interdisciplinary team, to ensure the combination of therapy techniques and medication are used for the best patient outcomes.   Education & Experience: Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) or Physician Assistant   

  • PMHNP or equivalent PA program degree 
  • Current valid state medical license  
  • Board Certified Mental Health NP or PA  
  • DEA License  
  • 1+ years’ experience in Psychiatric Mental Health care.  
  • Ability to demonstrate an understanding of a variety of models and theories of addiction, mental illness, and related issues.  
  • Knowledge of philosophies, practices, policies, and outcomes of models of treatment recovery, relapse prevention, and continuing care for dually diagnosed populations.  
  • Understanding of diagnostic criteria for dual conditions and ability to conceptualize modalities and placement criteria within the continuum of care.  
  • Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.  
  • Ability to work with others and demonstrate leadership qualities
