Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.

The salary range for this position is $46.16 - $57.83 (Hourly Rate).

  • Active Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the State of California
  • Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
  • Two years LVN experience
  • Demonstrated ability to provide highly personalized patient care
  • Demonstrated ability to work as an integral part of a patient care team.
  • Demonstrated communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong customer service orientation.
  • Ability to administer immunizations to adult patients
  • Ability to meet physical requirements identified below.
  • Demonstrated knowledge with Windows-based software including Microsoft word, Excel, Outlook.
  • This position requires flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Medical Center locations


  • IV Certification
  • Phlebotomy experience
  • Allergy skin testing experience
  • Primary care vaccine administration experience
  • Synagis administration experience
  • Experience in a primary care clinic


  • Active Licensed Vocational Nurse licensure in the State of California
  • Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
