Nurse Practitioner, Part-time (up to 29 hrs/wk), Naperville, IL
Job Summary:
AllerVie Health is seeking a Board Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our growing team in Naperville, IL! You will focus on providing high quality patient care as part of a healthcare team. Allergy and Asthma experience a plus.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and treat acute, episodic or chronic illnesses
- Prescribe necessary medications and treatments
- Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
- Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
- Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
- Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
- Communicate and facilitate patient care to clinical staff
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications, Education and Experience:
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) and a graduate degree, such as a Master of Science in Nursing (MSN).
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner
- Previous experience in nursing or other medical field
- Ability to build rapport with patients
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities
- Microsoft Office proficiency and EMR experience
