About the role:
The Clinical Nurse Unit Manager (CNUM) plays a crucial role in the Emergency Department (ED) by collaborating with a diverse team to deliver excellence and timely care to patients of all ages. Our successful candidate will be responsible for supervising nurses on a shift-by-shift basis to ensure individualised care for patients and their families.
You'll closely collaborate with an Emergency Staff Specialist to make sure this goal is achieved. Additionally, you'll receive support from Clinical Nurse Educators (CNEs), Allied Health professionals, your team, colleagues, and the ED Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) 3, as well as highly skilled Nurse Practitioners. This position operates in a high-energy environment with numerous demands, requiring constant prioritisation in a dynamic setting. You'll also receive support from an Operational Nurse Manager Critical Care during business hours and an After-Hours Nurse Manager outside of business hours, working closely with key stakeholders in patient flow.
